Course Description: In this one semester class, we will be covering chapters 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, & 12 in the on-line text Business Law I at https://openstax.org/details/books/business-law-i-essentials?Book%20details Links to an external site.

Keys to Success:
- Click on the Modules tab on the left side of your screen. This is where you can find assignments for each chapter. There will be a Concept Check for each section in a chapter. These checks are graded for effort and general understanding of the chapter. Do your best, but at least try!
- There will be some in-class activities to help you learn the chapter. Participation is going to be needed to learn this stuff!
- There will be a study guide for each chapter. You will be responsible for filling out the study guide, BUT I will be checking to make sure you have the correct information to study.
- There will be a test for each chapter.

ZOOM Etiquette:
- Find a quiet place to participate.
- Make sure you do not have any distractions in your Zoom place. (Ex.: your dog, music playing, using your cell phone, etc.)
- Follow the school dress code. Be fully dressed and make sure your hair is combed.
- Sit in a chair to participate in the Zoom meeting. Be sure your Chromebook is positioned in such a way that Zoom participants can see your face and/or upper body only.
- Do not eat or drink during your Zoom meeting unless your Zoom host gives you permission.
- Turn your video feature on. Make sure you do not have a distracting background. --- Maybe zoom backgrounds (ex: tropical locations etc.) can be allowed if they are plain colors and not distracting.
- Stay on mute until it is time for you to speak. Use the “raise hand” option if you would like to speak.
- Participate by using the chat feature to address the group when asking or answering a question.
- Do not take pictures or videos of your Zoom meeting.
- Be on time and respect others.
